Ingredients

  • 1 gallon apple cider
  • 1 gallon apple juice
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 6 whole cinnamon sticks
  • 1 teaspoon apple pie spice
  • 750 ml 190-proof grain alcohol (Everclear) or substitute 150-proof
  • 750 ml vodka
  • Optional: caramel syrup, vanilla bean, orange peel, star anise

Instructions

In a large pot, combine apple cider, apple juice, white sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon sticks, and apple pie spice.

Bring to a simmer, stirring until sugars dissolve.

Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour. Remove from heat and let cool completely.

Stir in grain alcohol and vodka once cooled.

Pour into sterilized mason jars or airtight bottles.

Add a cinnamon stick or garnish if desired.
