- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce (plus extra for glazing)
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, eggs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix until well combined, but do not overmix.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased baking dish.
- Spread 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Remove from the oven, let it rest for 10 minutes, then slice and serve with additional BBQ sauce and parsley if desired.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add some chopped jalapeños to the meat mixture.
Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
This meatloaf pairs well with mashed potatoes or a fresh salad.
