Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, granulated sugar, and ground cinnamon.
- In another bowl, combine melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract; mix well.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon for the filling.
- Fill each muffin cup halfway with batter, then sprinkle with the cinnamon-brown sugar mixture, and top with remaining batter.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Drizzle the glaze over the muffins once they are cool.

– You can add chopped nuts or raisins to the batter for added texture.
