Ingredients
Scale
1 cup dark chocolate chips (70% cocoa or higher)
1 pound fresh strawberries, washed and dried
1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional for shine)
Sea salt for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until fully melted and smooth.
- If desired, stir in the coconut oil for a glossier finish.
- Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, covering about two-thirds of the strawberry.
- Place the dipped strawberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Sprinkle with sea salt if using, and allow the chocolate to set for about 30 minutes at room temperature, or refrigerate for 15 minutes to speed up the process.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
– Use fresh, ripe strawberries for the best flavor.
– You can customize the toppings by adding chopped nuts, sprinkles, or drizzles of white chocolate.
– Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
