Ingredients
β 1 lb ground beef
β 1 medium onion, chopped
β 2 cloves garlic, minced
β 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
β 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
β 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
β Salt and pepper to taste
β 2 cups cooked pasta (optional)
β Grated Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions
1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic; sautΓ© until the onion is translucent.
3. Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
4. Simmer for 10 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
5. If using, stir in cooked pasta until heated through.
6. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
Notes
For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
This dish can be served over rice or in a wrap for a different twist.
