Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ½ tsp ground cloves
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and spices.
  3. In another bowl, mix pumpkin, oil, sugar, eggs, milk, and vanilla.
  4. Gradually fold dry ingredients into wet until combined.
  5. Pour batter into loaf pan and bake for 55–65 minutes.
  6. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
