- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken breasts and cook until golden brown, about 5-6 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sautรฉ until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add chicken broth, heavy cream, sun-dried tomatoes, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Stir to combine.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer for 10-15 minutes until the sauce thickens and the chicken is cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
