1 pound fresh strawberries, washed and dried
8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional for shine)
Sprinkles or chopped nuts (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Melt the chocolate and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
- Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
- Place the dipped strawberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- If desired, sprinkle with sprinkles or chopped nuts before the chocolate sets.
- Refrigerate for about 30 minutes or until the chocolate hardens.
Notes
For best results, make sure strawberries are completely dry before dipping.
