Ingredients
4 chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon ground ginger
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
2. In a bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, garlic, apple cider vinegar, and ground ginger.
3. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
4. Coat the chicken thighs with the honey garlic marinade, reserving some for basting.
5. Place the chicken thighs on the grill, skin-side down, and cook for about 6-7 minutes.
6. Flip the chicken, baste with the reserved marinade, and cook for another 6-7 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165Β°F (75Β°C).
7. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes.
8. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the honey garlic mixture for at least 30 minutes before grilling. Adjust the level of garlic to your preference for a more or less intense flavor.
