Ingredients
2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
1. Combine strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice in a bowl. Let sit for 10 minutes to macerate.
2. In a separate bowl, whisk together heavy cream, whole milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
3. Add the macerated strawberries to the cream mixture and stir gently to combine.
4. Pour the mixture into the Ninja Creami pint and freeze for 24 hours.
5. After freezing, process in the Ninja Creami according to the manufacturer’s instructions until creamy.
6. Serve immediately or store in the freezer for later enjoyment.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use more heavy cream and less milk.
You can also substitute half of the strawberries with other fruits like bananas or blueberries for variety.
