– 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 lemon, juiced and zested
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
– 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
– Cooked rice or pasta for serving
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
2. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add shrimp, lemon juice, and zest. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Cook for 3-4 minutes until shrimp is pink and opaque.
5. Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley.
6. Serve over cooked rice or pasta, garnished with extra lemon if desired.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add more red pepper flakes.
