Ingredients
4 pounds whole chicken
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon cumin
1 tablespoon oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 lime, juiced
1 orange, juiced
Instructions
1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
2. In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cumin, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
3. Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken, making sure to get under the skin for more flavor.
4. Drizzle lime and orange juice over the chicken and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
5. Place the chicken on the grill, breast side down, and cook for about 40 minutes, flipping halfway through until the internal temperature reaches 165ยฐF.
6. Remove from the grill and let it rest for 10 minutes before carving.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken overnight.
Serve with rice and beans for a complete meal.
